Tour Overview

This is Southern Africa at its most epic — a slow, soul-stirring overland journey that carries you from the red dunes of the Kalahari all the way to the thundering spray of Victoria Falls. Over 22 unforgettable days, you'll trace Namibia's ever-changing face: the golden grasses of the Kalahari, the immense chasm of Fish River Canyon, the ghostly diamond town of Kolmanskop, and the world-famous dunes of Sossusvlei glowing crimson at first light. You'll wander the wind-swept streets of Lüderitz, search for legendary wild desert horses at Garub, and feel the Atlantic breeze roll into charming Swakopmund.

From there the wild only deepens. Ancient Damaraland reveals San rock art and desert-adapted elephants, while Etosha's shimmering pans draw elephants, giraffe, zebra and lion to its waterholes. Then the landscape turns lush and tropical as you follow the Okavango into Botswana — gliding by mokoro through lily-fringed channels, drifting on sunset cruises, and waking to the calls of fish eagles. The finale is pure magic: the elephant-crowded banks of the Chobe River, and the mighty Mosi-oa-Tunya, "The Smoke That Thunders."

Travelling by road with characterful lodges and hotels along the way, this is a journey of vast horizons, quiet stillness, and once-in-a-lifetime encounters. From silent deserts to roaring water, every mile tells a story. Come and let Africa unfold before you — one extraordinary chapter at a time.
